Section I- Hospital benefit

(This section does not apply for trips within the United Kingdom, except for trips to the Channel Islands)

What you are covered for:

We will pay up to the sum insured shown on the Schedule of Benefits if after an accident or illness that is covered under Section C - Medical and other expenses, in addition to that under Section C 1., you go into hospital as an in-patient outside the United Kingdom. We will pay GBP10 for each complete 24 hour period whilst you are in hospital. This benefit ceases if hospitalization continues upon your return to the United Kingdom.

Note: The amounts we will pay under this Section are to help you pay extra expenses such as taxi fares and/or phone calls during your stay in hospital.
