Eczema

Eczema is one of the most common skin disorders; it is suggested that 30% of all people with skin problems have eczema. There are many different types of eczema all affecting the skin. Eczema is an itchy inflammation of the skin, which can vary in severity. Symptoms include, itchy, red and dry skin with some experiencing lumps and blisters.

Causes of this skin condition include, allergies to food, overheating, dust mites and animal fur. Eczema, as with many of the skin conditions can't be cured, however there are treatments that can help prevent it spreading and alleviate the pain. Antihistamines, bathing and showering with special creams and changing washing powder can help the eczema condition.
